While subjective, I disagree that there is such a thing as class-based occupations.

With some of these, such as the collecting professions, you’ll want to get started as soon as possible, while with others, you may want to wait till later.
In World of Warcraft, choosing a career may be difficult: Classic because if you unlearn a profession, you lose whatever recipes you’ve learned, making it a more or less irreversible decision.
